The moisturizing action makes the oily materials soak well enough when mixed with water by reducing the surface tension, and simultaneously let water soak onto the surface as well as deep inside thereby offering the effect of lowering surface energy. The above figure shows the different symptoms incurred when two liquids, one containing moisturizer and the other with no moisturizer contained, are dropped on glass. As seen on the figure, the liquid containing moisturizer shows excellent soaking action, i.e., moisturizing effect with small angle of contact and high surface energy, and on the contrary the liquid containing no moisturizer keeps the big angle of contact on glass providing low surface energy and poor soaking action as a result.

Recognizing its action from what it is called as spreading effect, the spreader makes the agricultural chemicals evenly well spread over entire crops allowing thoroughly stick and absorbed. The video images show the different conditions between the group treated with spreader and other group not treated demonstrating the effect of destroying harmful insects, and as seen on the images the insecticide sprayed on leaves’ surfaces of group treated with spreader is well spread while the insecticide sprayed on other group not treated is not spread lumping as liquid drops. Accordingly as a result, we can easily observe the aphids of treated group absorb spreader fast and completely exterminated while many aphids of non-treated group survive the insecticide lumped as liquid drops not eliminated.

The defoamer prevents the production of incompliant goods which may be caused by the foam generated in manufacturing of products.
Ex.) Washing process, Thermal power plant cooling water, Process preventing pinholes of film/PCB substrate production.
The cleaning action refers to a work removing foreign substances (e.g. oily dirt), which eliminates the polluting materials in skin by making foam using soap when washing hands as shown on the figure. The operation principle employed with cleaning action works in the way that the hydrophilic substance contained in soap bubbles stick on the polluting materials forming micelles and easily washed with water because the surface of micelle is holds hydrophilic property.

The Pionin-DDAC product is fundamentally different from the Alkyl benzyl type quarternary ammonium traditionally used a lot. The DDAC is an outstanding antiseptic sterilization agent which is quite safe for environment application offering considerably better effect in various areas of sterilization, disinfection and sanitation than the quaternary ammonium having benzene ring structure. Taking advantage of above described features, the DDAC has been expanding its applications across the board of Disinfectants, Sanitizers, Cleaners, Bactericides, Fungicides, Algicides and etc. as diluted by itself or through formulation with other surfactants.

The D-Limonene is one of major oil ingredients extracted from skins of citrus, of which the oil is extracted from skin by pressing the citrus fruits. Now the oil is to be separated from juice and distilled in order to collect the specific aroma and components making such aroma. The most of residual oil content is a food grade D-Limonene. Meantime, the skin of citrus is transported over to the steam extractor through conveyor, and the more oil can be extracted from citrus skin. As the steam is concentrated, the oil layer is to be floating on the surface of water, which is a technical grade D-Limonene. For reference it is noted that the Terpene is used primarily as an aroma component though it holds cleaning capability yet much weaker than that of D-Limonene. In the past 10 years the applications of D-Limonene have been sharply increased, mostly used as paint solids, aroma stuff, secondary cooling fluid & etc. However, the greatest area of growth for those products using D-Limonene comes from the cleaning industry area, which is of two applications for household. The D-Limonene can be directly used as a solvent replacing wide variety of products including alcoholic mineral spirit, methyl ethyl ketone, acetone, toluene, glycol ethers, organic fluorine solvent, organic chlorine solvent & etc. Likewise the most of organic solvents, the D-Limonene is not soluble to water, therefore should be of much better solvent than conventional mineral spirits. The straight D-Limonene can be used as cleaner and direct replacements for most of other organic solvents. By compounding d-Limonene with the combination of surfactants, a solution used as mixed with water can be produced. The concentrated liquid mixed with D-Limonene and surfactant can be diluted with water or produced as liquid pre-diluted. The concentration employed in D-Limonene out of said liquid is primarily 5 ~ 15%. In general, the liquid is used as cleaner wiping dirt out with spray, The d-Limonene is a chemical highly effective in wide areas of many applications, which is highly safe and lot more effective than any other conventional cleaning products.
The palm tree, a raw material for Carnauba Wax and specialty product of Brazil, is a wild plant growing gregariously on sand soil and riverside, which produces wax for about 10 years and grows up as big tree of 12~15M height lapsing 50 years. Picking of leaves is done in September through October and December through January. The color of Carnauba Wax is light yellow and yellow of soft lead with the melting point of 82-85°C, specific gravity of 0.997 dissolving in ethanol, chloroform, ether & alkali but not in water. The Carnauba Wax is classified as T1, T3 & etc. as per the level of refining, of which the smaller number indicates the higher refining made. The color at initial extraction stage shows a grayish tone with a bit of green, yet the more refining is done the color is to be lighter, and in case of T1 presenting light yellow color. T1 is used a lot mostly for cosmetic manufacturing, printing, coating, pharmaceutical and parting agent applications, while T3 is largely used for glossy wax, water repellent, surfactant, textile softener and common industrial applications.

Background of Product Development
There has been constant effort exerted for a long period of time to reduce the defective rate in Japanese PCB industry, discovering that the best solution is to identify the cause of defect and remove it in advance rather than trying to resolve the problem after the defects were occurred. Further, many of possibilities have been reviewed on the causes of defects, and it was found that the primary cause of defect comes from contamination (Scum coming from dry film, carbonate and etc.) inside developing machine. As such, a renowned big Japanese enterprise developed and applied the developing machine cleaner in vain not able to completely eliminate the contamination inside machine. However, about 3 years ago the KLEANKEM V capable to remove 99% of contamination had been developed by the Yako Co., Ltd. Upon implementing practical applications at major PCB industry manufacturers in Japan inclusive of Ibiden Co., Ltd., シイエムケイ Kambara Electronics, Hitachi Chemical Company, the effect of reducing defective rate was observed resulting in the sales increase by 2~3 times every year since the application. Unlike the cleaner for DFA developing machine as currently sold in Korea market, being an agent completely dissolving the source of contamination, the KLEANKEM V is a proven product showing absolutely no phenomenon of increased defective rate after washing process as well as no damage engaged to the developing machine itself caused by the residual contamination sources left inside of pipe. Moreover, in September 2004 the new product of KLEANKEM VI was developed for PSA developing machine and applied to actual jobs since October 2004 in Japan demonstrating favorable result. With that, the customers employing KLEANKEM VI is sharply increasing at the moment in Japan, while in Korea it is expected to be on the market on coming April for sale. As well we have been stepping forward to develop the antifoaming agent for plating process chemicals and non-silicon chemicals where lots of defects have been generating. We are committed to exert the utmost effort in providing solutions against problems of Korean PCB industry customers based on the advanced technologies and know-how as a surfactant specialty manufacturer taking the opportunity of launching KLEANKEM V to the market.

KLEANKEM â…¥ is a chemical to remove the polluted substances inside PSR Developing Machine employed in the PCB manufacturing process. KLEANKEM VI removes the carbonate, epoxy residue, resins & etc., the major pollution resources inside PSR Developing Machine by either dissolution or decomposition. Using the KLEANKEM VI on routine basis allows developing machine maintain the optimum condition, which will extend the life span of machine and saving repair cost as well as reducing defect rate in production process.
